While neither Tom nor I regularly post on the happenings at our employer it does seem that we should mention this major piece of work-related news. All the standard disclaimers apply about this being our own, independent work and not the work of our employer etc. With that out of the way the dean of UNLV's law school, Richard Morgan, announced Monday that he will retire at the end of this academic year. When he leaves his post on June 30, 2007 Morgan will have been a law school dean for two decades. The second decade he spent getting the William S. Boyd School of Law started, accredited and ranked in the top 100 schools in the country. There are so many very nice things to say about Dean Morgan's career but the most important is likely Thank You.
