Google tools for everyone

Google today released Google Apps for Domains. The program brings the hosted Gmail solution of the last few months out of beta and into general availability.

The service bundles Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk and Google page creator. According to the company's website a premium service will be rolled out in the future. News reports suggest this service may include more flexibility in setting up and administering accounts as well as ad-free versions of the service. Meanwhile law schools like ours are already making the move.

students.law.unlv.edu account?

Is there a way to set up an account at http://mail.google.com/hosted/students.law.unlv.edu? I'm interested if so.

students.law.unlv.edu accounts

Accounts at students.law.unlv.edu are reserved for current law students. Presently everyone in the 1L class has these accounts. In the near future members of other classes will be offered this option.

Upperclassmen?

By "members of other classes," do you mean future classes or are you also including upperclass members (i.e., 2L, 3L)?

All current students

We will soon be rolling the @students.law.unlv.edu email addresses out to all current students - the 2L, 3L and 4L classes.
